* Excerpt from the apology of Judge Georgios Tertsetis, when he was tried along with President Anastasios Polyzoidis at the Criminal Court of Nafplio on September 27th 1834, because the previous May they both refused to agree to the condemnation and execution of Theodoros Kolokotronis and Dimitrios Plapoutas.
