Born in Athens in 1952, he was admitted into the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1973 where he studied Painting under Nicos Nicolaou and Yorghos Mavroidis, History of Fine Arts under P. Prevelakis and Marina Lambraki-Plaka and Folk Architecture under P. Mylonas. He was awarded a scholarship by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and studied hagiography and fresco techniques under Konstantinos Xinopoulos. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. He lives and works in Kallithea.
