Born in Komotini in 1957, he is the editor of the magazine insert of the “Efimerida ton Syntakton” Newspaper. He teaches creative writing at the Greek Open University, at the University of Western Macedonia and at the “Sxoli” (courses for adults) of Patakis Publications. In 2000 he won the Greek State Short Story Award. His work has been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Romanian, Czech and Chinese. His plays have need directed by Roula Paterakis, Theodoris Gkonis, Lilly Meleme, Pericles Choursoglou, Alexia Kaltsiki and others. He co-wrote screenplays with Nikos Panayiotopoulos. He has presented his photographs in solo exhibitions. He has published nine book, two plays and two photographic albums. He lives and works in Athens.
