Political satire and cartooning: Masterclass with Dimitris Hantzopoulos

Within the context of Dimitris Hantzopoulos’ exhibition Selfies, at 16 Fokionos Negri, Dimitris Hantzopoulos will deliver a masterclass on the art of political satire and cartooning, looking back at milestones from his longstanding, creative career.

The masterclass is addressed to young professionals from the field of animation and cartooning, to students from the fields of fine and applied arts, but also to people from the creative sector in general who are interested in political cartooning.

The masterclass will be held in Greek.

Dimitris Hantzopoulos was born in Patras in 1956, he studied Physics at the University of Athens and Animation at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. He works as a cartoonist at “Kathimerini” Newspaper. He has published several books. He lives and works in Athens.
